Just like any brand new car, this Ford Kuga is no exception. We always tell our clients that even though your car is brand new and a few days old, it does not mean that the production date was a few days old. Most cars are stored in open air warehouses till the batch is complete. Prior completion of the batch, the car might have been left outdoors for a extensive time, hence the elements will be damaging the paint.

Upon arrival, we started to inspect the car, with limited time and a huge surface area to work on, we started immediately.

The paint is swirled up.

Holograms are also visible.

We assume that the car had to have some serious stains as the entire car had been polished.

Due to the lack of experience with a rotary buffer, the person that polished the car left us tonnes of paint correction to do.

The wheels looked like they had some very greasy tyre shine on it.

A closer look and the thickness of the brake dust is just speechless.

Wasting no further time, we started with the standard deep clean, scrubbing the low quality tyre shine off.

Although the paint had been polished, it was not detailed, hence most trim and edges of the car is stain covered.

We also clayed the car as we found the paint to be very rough. Claying will smoothen the paint and also show us how dirty it is.

After much intense cleaning and stain removed, we polished the paint. Here is the after.

Immediately, the shine was restored and gloss enhanced, this time, the owner came by and was just blown away.

After around more than 8hours of paint correction, we applied Opti-Coat Pro for the final protection. Check out the results. White, can have the wet glossy look too.

It is said to be that this car is one of the most fuel efficient hybrid car ever made. It is said by the owner, that this car had been diagnosed by one of the most well known retailers in Malaysia. It is said that by the owner, that these detailers force him to polish his flawless paint condition just because its 1 year old and rarely used. So, we stepped into the picture.
*P/S: we are using a different digital camera for this job as our standard camera suffered some damages.

For the paint condition diagnosis, we found the the surface has a minimum hydrophobic element.

The question of such flawless paint conditions had us wondering how old was the car, how much was the milage, how many times had it been washed?

We come in for a closer look, as this is a Pearl White, so lighting could be slightly over exposed. But we find tat it is swirl and hologram free.

Another closed up look on the paint at a different section of the car, and yes it is the same on the entire car. Hence we asked the owner about the milage, usage of the car, etc. Apparently, the car had been bought and not been used as the owner is always out of the country. Basically, it had been collecting dust for the past year.

Found a long watermark stain from the constant exposure to dirty rain water.

For the correction, we were not required to polish the paint as it is already in a flawless condition. So we turn to hardcore crazy cleaning every edge.

Not one secluded area was missed.

The front number plate holder area was removed and double sided tape marks removed with Osren’s Tar Remover.

The long watermark stain removed with a light polishing with machine.

Yet another view on the long watermark stain area.

The rear number plate was removed and the sticky glue residue was removed as well

Since the car had been left there to collect dust for almost a year, I expected the glass to have watermark issues. I was right.

With using Osren’s StainX, watermarks all removed without any hassle and damages to the glass.

The owner swapped some mighty awesome wheel on this Nippon Ride. So here it is, Rays Engineering. We started from the exterior, to the interior, to the back of the spokes then got it coated as well.

Within the deep area s behind the pretty spokes. Dirty and covered in sand and brake dust.

After a quick wash up with Osren’s Multi-Cleaner.

On the spokes, barely running for 2 days.

After brushing and removing the brake dust.

Brake dust stuck behind the spokes

The cleaned spoke.

After drying the rims inside and out, we coated it.

Zoom in on the small details.

After Coating application.

Water beading on the rims.

More water beadings on the spokes.

Rims caps were plastic but coated as well.

Not forgetting the very expensive Rays Lug nuts.

Artistic view of small water beadings.

After a 6 hour ordeal, we finally came to a conclusion. The car is fully Optimum Coated. We will let the pictures do the talking. Comes with a complimentary sun shot.

So here we are to show you what have we done over the weekend. We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with no booze, no food but we went on a waxing spreee! SO we have here a BMW E90 M5 and a Heavily modified Toyota Supra with custom made only-one-in-the-world wide bodykit. I’ll start with the M5.

This is not just an ordinary M5 you might have spotted on the roads, this is a mean machine detailed by the one and only…

The car’s paint condition was in such a scratchless condition, but unfortunately there were still some light swirls, but we are not here to correct paint! Not forgetting, we still found that the car is quite heavy on the watermark issues too.
was told by the owner that it was previously detailed not very long ago but then… not really impressive for crazy detailers like us. We are not judging on the previous detailer’s work, we are here to improve whats lacking!

So, after wash and wax it kindof look more HD?

Water beadings and gloss have been restored!

Now for the most anticipated Monster Supra
After washing and a full car claying

Water beading and gloss restored!

Here comes the 3rd car, might just be a Proton but still it look soooo glossy after the wax!

From day till night, been running all over klang valley!

Black cars shine is the most satisfying for me and just look at those water beading!

Then the next morning we went on with the waxing spree to work on a Honda CRZ. Didn’t had much time so we skipped the before pictures but here are the afters.

Water beading on a clean surface

Barely even coating with such results, but too bad it just don’t last as long as coatings

All the Best! and Happy St. Patrick’s Day no matter how you celebrated it!
