Upon arrival, we laid our eyes onto this brand new BMW F30 Diesel that drove all the way from Kuantan to Kuala Lumpur for us to work on his car. As usual, we would never expect the car to be in good shape since most BMWs go through a rather horrible PDI. Let’s get started.

From a distance, the car looked rather glossy. But then again looks can always be deceiving.

It was raining quite abit for the past few days before the car came to us.

On the paint, there are traces of dried up rain water as well.

The usual road grime and splatter from the rain.

For a brand new car with less than 500KM clocked, the fuel area was rather dirty.

Moving on to the paint inspection. Shocked to see that its heavy on swirls for a new car.

Besides swirls, as we expected, the car had been polish, hence the hologram marks.

More hologram marks with surrounding swirls.

Even more holograms spotted on the front hood.

Some deeper swirl damage on the hood.

and even more random hologram marks around the car.

Coming to the surface preparations. Of course we didn’t miss the fuel area.

After cleaning the car, we moved on the the paint correction. Here is a before.

After paint restoration.

Other areas after paint correction.

Paint has been restored to its original state.

You might also notice changes in the colour and gloss enhancement after the paint correction stage.

After traveling more than 300KM to reach Kuala Lumpur, the wheels would definitely be looking dirty and covered in brake dust.

Lug nut areas were covered in brake dust as well.

That is how the original colour looks like.

After much detailing on the wheels. We applied Opti-Coat™Pro.

Clean and Protected.

Finally, not forgetting the lug nut areas as well.

After a gruesome 7hr with the car, we finally coated it. Check out the amazing finish on black!

We have with us the all new Honda Civic Turbo. Just collected a day before we came over to work on it. The owner did mention that the car was in pretty good condition, but as we all know, even brand new cars comes with paint damage. In this case, its pretty obvious there was a poorly done PDI.

Upon arrival, we did our routine walk around to spot obvious damages around the car.

But since its a 1 day old car, there was no obvious damage on the car.

Next up, we did the LED check light inspection. Hologram spotted.

On other sections of the hood.

On the side fender, hologram and light swirls spotted.

While we were washing the car, we noticed the surface of the paint was really coarse. This was the claybar before.

This is the claybar after. Noticed the edges of the clay. Some metal particles and tar was picked up in the process.

We then moved on to restore the crappy PDI damages. Before.

After paint restoration.

Before paint restoration.

After paint restoration.

After we completed all the damaged areas, we did an IPA (alcohol) wipe down and double checked the surface.

Triple checked the surface just to confirm.

The surface is now ready to be coated.

Entire process took us about 5hours to complete. So check out the glossy finish or a properly corrected and coated brand new car. This is how we feel brand new cars should look like.

We have with us a brand new Toyota Altis ready to be protected. When we say brand new, we usually mean 1 week or 2 weeks from delivery but this car is way beyond new. The owner just collected and drove the car home 2hours ago. The owner contacted us before delivery to schedule the timing and here we are. Check out the process!

Upon arrival, the owner already pre-parked the car in a horizontal position which is easier for us to work around.

We did our routine walk around to inspect for obvious damages.

Looks like the owner did some wiping and left some smudge marks.

Overall the paint looks pretty much new since the owner just collected the car hours ago.

Pop the fuel area and even for such a new car, it is dirty.

The dirt splashed from the journey home.

The windscreen were a little dusty as well.

Since its a new car, we expected watermark issues on the windscreen but it was clean and clear.

As we inspected the paint further, we spotted some hologram issues.

Another view of the hologram issues.

On LED, the hologram became even more obvious.

On a different area.

More hologram marks.

Coming to the paint correction, we did a light polish to remove the hologram.

Another pass of polish just in case if there were any micro swirls.

Leaving a perfect flawless surface. Of course, we did the essential cleaning and surface preparations for the coating.

The wheels were just slightly dirty as its the monsoon season.

With only minor stains and brake dust.

Wheels cleaned and Opti-Coated.

The preparation process did not take up alot of time because the car was pretty much new, we only fixed any existing damages, gave a light polish, and it was ready to be coated. Check out the final finishing.
