We have with us a 1 day old Honda HR-V. This round, we are at Malacca, the historical state of Malaysia. Not wasting any time, lets start with the process.

Upon arrival, we did our usual walk around the car to spot any visible damages.

The car was swirl free as we inspected the paint with a LED light.

We looked closer at other panels and concluded the car to be at a tip top paint condition.

Recently, we had many cases of badly scratches taillights, hence as a precaution, we inspected the taillights closely as well.


Although the paint was in good shape, we found the texture to be slightly rough. A full car claying was done.

After claying, we gave the car a light polish to smooth out the surface.

Finally, we checked the surface for any left over marring from the claying process.

The sun came out hence we took all these shot without any artificial lighting.

Finally, the surface is now coating worthy.

The wheels were not very dirty since the car is a day old.

There were some light signs of use.

Wheel Barrel was also dirty from rain puddles beside of the road.

We cleaned the wheel.

Finally, we coated the wheels and gave it a coat of tyre shine.


Lastly, the car was coated and left to cure. Here are the results.

We are all the way down south at Johor Bharu to prep and coat this sexy Mercedes Benz today. The car is around 3 months old but very under utilized. The main use of the car was to go to fancy business functions hence the clean and spanking new paint.

Upon arrival, we did our usual walk around the car to check for any obvious defects.

Immediately we spot a paint chip off on one of the door.

The paint had severe stain and contamination.

All over the car, there were small black spots.

There were some light tar spots on the side panels.

We also found some wax residue on some of the edges.

Because the car is diesel powered, exhaust area were slightly cover in the brown carbon emitted from the exhaust.

Overall, the paint was still in a very good shape with next to no swirls.


We gave the car our standard decontamination wash. The surface is clean but without any protection.

The wax residue left on the edge was removed carefully with a cotton bud.

Finally, we gave the paint a light polish to smooth  out any non-visible blemish.

LED spotlight indicated no visible damage on the paint. The car is now ready for coating.

We also gave the exhaust a quick polish, removing the brown stains.

The small tar spots were removed as well.


The owner was quite particular on his car washing methods.

We did some minor cleaning and got the wheels coated.




The glass were slightly stained with watermark.

We removed all the watermark stains and restored the glass to a sleek surface.


Finally, we got the car coated and here are the results.
