This is gonna one of those very simple post, very straight forward jobs that we do without any coating application, but instead we decided to go crazy while the customer only asked for a simple polish before he sells the car off. It is going to be EPIC.

First of all, the typical S Class is mostly driven by a driver and also maintained by a driver. Drivers are not trained to wash or even have the proper washing equipment to wash a car, so they would just use whatever cloth/tissue/rag with whatever combo of shampoo/dishwasher/cloths detergent they can find around and clean the car. In this case, the driver had been using a very rough rag to wash the car for the past 7 years.
Upon shining the light onto the paint, we really did expect the condition to come out like this. Well, what did you expect for 7 years of torture?

An added bonus, we don’t even require lighting to be able to see the scratches, swirls and other paint defects.

As usual, we washed and clayed the car. Getting it ready for polishing was really a pain in the A**. Eventually, we reached the polishing stage. I will be very honest to our readers, this is not a flawless perfect job, it was supposed to be just a light polishing to give it a quick shine and smooth paint. This is a before shot with the sun.

1st stage polish we were able to do maybe a 40% recovery?

Feeling irritated we decided to go all out and just do a good one and not just a light polish. Although we did not ask the customer for approval, we were not even going to charge extra for the extra work. It just felt right that the car deserved a full recovery. After all, its still a S Class

After a intense 4 stage detailing, we achieve a 80-90% recover. There are still some severe damages that cannot be removed as it has just gone too deep, but again, what can you do with its the first ever polish since day 1 of the Merc’s life?

Moving on to using LED lightings, with the help of a tripod, we are able to show you guys, the same panel, after multiple stages of detailing. This is prior any detailing.Firs
First stage, cutting through all the damages.

Second stage, leaving behind some light random isolated deep scratches.

Our instinct told us to just push for the last pass and we did. This was the outcome. There are still some light scratches but I guess it is good enought?

It was supposed to be a quick and straight forward 3hours polishing but it resulted in an intense 10hour hardcore recovery which we were quite satisfied at. The owner jaw dropped when he saw the car but the who are we to judge, If you like our work, please do subscribe and give us a like on facebook =)

Finally for the results, we do not use lighting, we do not use any signature shot gimmicks, and of course, our photos are all unedited except the number plates, cheers.

We have with us the all new BMW F30 competitor, the continental car luxury killer the Lexus ES. Being a luxury Japanese car, the paint should be quite good and the post delivery is supposed to be perfect but…

Upon arrival, what we saw was just dust, bird droppings, watermarks on the paint, stains and all the normal daily driven road contaminants. Little to us to find out was…

Dust covered panels with combo of watermarks

That bird dropping stain gave us the chills as we did not know how long was it there.

As we move on to the paint inspection, we found some holograms caused from post delivery procedures.

In fact, we founds such holograms all over the car.

Some were quite severe, some were…Not so severe on some panels.

We immediately started the cleaning process from tyres, wheels to body and trims. Resulting in a shiny and clean finish.

After much detailed cleaning and washing, we moved on to the paint correction. Holograms were successfully removed

On all the panels.

Then the surface was ready for the full coverage of Opti-Guard

Dull, unattractive the wheel are, it was covered in the standard brake dust like every other car.

Zoomed in, it was light but it was there.

Drew a line with the finger and you can see the contrast of the brake dust and the surface underneath

Wheel barrel was filthy as well

After much attention to the details, you can finally see the wheel bling up. After that we got it coated to lock in those shines.

And of course, wheel barrel is squeaky clean!

As a results of much pampering to such a new car.

The Nissan Fairlady, as iconic as it is, this specific car belong to one legendary lady driver which never had enought of this sweet ride. Being said, it had never had proper pampering for the past 9 years just because she didn’t trust no one until she found us.

From the first glance, she looks dull. Paint is definitely not in a good shape at this point, but of course, that is why we are here.

We first inspected the paint with a high powered LED and found holograms from the recently repainted panels.

While on the paint that was already seasoned, we found swirls. Very heavy swirls.

Being the colour of this shade, it is rather hard to capture paint defects, this is a perfect example of “just too much swirls deflecting the light”
Some areas were in black, hence you are able to clearly view the swirls and holograms.

On the paint, there were also some areas affected by holograms.
Being a 9 year old Japanese import vehicle, its a very common sight to see the headlights oxidized or what layman describe as “turning yellowish”

Clarity will be affected when these condition are found on the headlights.

Not only are the headlights affected by oxidation, it also faces micro cracking behind the lens. This is due to the heat coming from the HID bulbs that are factory fitted.

Most car washes does not and will not wash your tyres. We do.

This is merely from 1 tyre and we are not cleaning the rims yet.
When we were done with the tyres and wheels, you have here, the naked looks of the matte painted wheels.

For the correction, we focus more on the percentage of recovery and try to achieve the best result.

After washing, we see the unprotected surface. Paint surface was very very coarse. We had to clay multiple rounds.

After claying, we washed the car again and started the paint correction process with the Rupes Big Foot system.

Results was pretty impressive. 90% of swirls were removed.
Paint condition after the correction was good. Almost at a 90% recovery.

As for the black painted panels, the correction was not that successful as the scratches were just too deep. We were able to restore the gloss and shine but were unable to correct to flawless conditions. *Note: black panels were fibre panels and paint was already cracking.

After the paint, we move on to the headlight correction. Here is the headlight after correction.

Tested the clarity of the beam, and finally, the owner herself said it looks much better.

Bam, the results was a jaw dropping gloss and shine.
