We have with us a brand new Honda Civic, face lifted to the latest version with this sleek looking bluewish grey colour. We are here to get the car fully protected with Opti-Coat™Pro.
Upon arrival, we did our standard walk around to inspect for any visible damages.
We found the car to be covered in what seemed to be residue from a dying tree.
Basically, the whole car was covered in these residues.
As we inspected closer, we found some light watermark stains too.
Next up, we inspected the paint with a high powered LED flood light.
Seems like Honda was a little irresponsible on their PDI.
Holograms were spotted on multiple panels.
Next up, we preped the surface so that we can correct these holograms.
After some delicate procedures, the holograms had been corrected.
From our experience with Honda(s), they tend to have very soft paint, most car care centers in Malaysia may not be equipped against these factors.
Hence, they may either fix the problem or screw it up further.
We use only professional equipment on our client’s cars, in this case, we are using the Rupes paint correction system.
Once all the proper correction is done, the car is now ready for Opti-Coat™ Pro. Check out the results.
Today we have with us an AMG, not only any AMG, but one of the hottest AMGs we have in the market today. The A45 AMG. As iconic as it is, as powerful as it is, it still require delicate attention to the paintwork. That is why we are here today.
Upon arrival, we started with our standard ritual of doing a walk around the car to spot any visible damages.
We removed the number plate for easier access.
Then found some stains around the number plate frame.
The paint was in rather good condition only having some minor watermarks.
We first gave the car a deep clean and wash. Removing any foreign contamination from the paint.
Then we gave the paint a light polish, restoring a smooth surface.
Finally, with the use of IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) we removed all polish oil or grease from the paint.
The wheels were slightly dirty from a day of driving.
An alkaline based cleaner is best suitable for cleaning wheels like these.
Finally, drying and coating the wheels.
We spent around 5hours working on this brand new AMG to get it to this glossy wet look. Enjoy the finishing.
Honda HR-V over Honda HR-V, it’s a wave of Honda(s) we are going through everyday. It could be one of the most bought CUV vehicle in Malaysia at this rate! Today we have with us a 1month old Honda HR-V, the owner refuse to drive the car without a properly done protective coating on the paint. Therefore we are here to get him sorted.
Upon arrival, we did our standard walk around.
The car’s drainage areas were covered in stains and dust.
As we initiated our standard paint inspection, we found hologram/buffing marks.
These marks are usually caused by improper polishing methods.
We started with the basic washing, the illustration shows a clean and unprotected surface. Therefore the water does not bead on the paint.
After paint correction been done, holograms were corrected.
On a different panel were corrected of the buffing marks.
After completing the paint correction, we did a final inspection on all panels.
The glass was stained with mineral deposits or also known as watermark, so we treated the glass as well.
Finally, we applied Opti-Coat Pro onto the paint. Here are the result.
