This is one cars in this compilation that was in a horrible condition. Purely a work horse for more than 3 years, the car was also fully washed, polished and maintained by a untrained detailer cum driver. Being a solid white car, swirls are not so visible but the paint look really very dull.

The car was covered in alot of stains, this was one of the many areas that was stained. This area also suffered a small dent.

Every small arch and edge was stained in a thick layer or dirt.

These “hard to reach” areas were normally neglected and not washed which in long term caused a hard to remove stain.

Looks like it has been neglected for some time, look at the branches and dried leaves caught at the wiper area.

We also found some resin marks on the back area.

Zoomed in and you can see the spots.

Even the logo areas were so covered in stains.

Amazingly, some of the glass had no watermark.

some had minor watermarks on them.

Now, moving to the paint. This is a shot taken under the sun.

A closer look and we are up for one hell of a day.

From a distance, it really looks terrible!

As I said, because the car was heavily abused, not all damage can be corrected. Some deep scratches remain.

Emblems were all cleaned out as well

Edges were cleaned up as well. At this point of the detail, it has been 1 full day.


Not much was done to the interior as it was already cleaned.

We detailed the remaining area which are normally missed out.

We continued into the polishing process at day 2. Only upon the evening we were able to continue to the coating applicati0n. So here we present to you, the results.

This is Day 3 of 9 for our hardcore non-stop detailing show down. Today we have here with us a very special car. This is a Fiat 500 Abarth but not any Abarth, Its a Tributo Ferrari, Chassis number #98 of #99 units. Fiat is no small deal, this car is totally a mad car, with a Ferrari style gear shifting mechanism, carbon fibers everywhere and also a Ferrari sounding exhaust system. This is on hell of a car and we are honored the owner chose us to get his pocket rocket protected.

The car may be sort of high end, rare and out from a premium reseller or even directly from abarth but when it comes to damages. We really don’t understand why wouldn’t the high end dealerships hire proper professional to prepare to car for delivery?

Here we have a sun shot, the car was polish but not finished properly, hence the holograms/buffing trails everywhere. We then took a closer look.

There were some light swirls probably from the wiping after polishing with old micro fiber clothes.

We then continue the inspection with high powered LEDs. Holograms/Buffing trails still visible.

The previous detailers did some damages to the decals which was irreversible.  Notice the decals has some black tone to it. It was the colour removed or was polished away.

More residue from the side of the decals that proves our theory that the previous detailer did polish the decal but ending up in damaging the entire stripe.

More residue was found on the rubber edges, I presume the previous detailer did not mask the rubber edges too.

The engine was dusty and had some leftover grease too.

Like we always say, we dry clean the engine because cars nowadays has too much electronics, wet wash might damage the electronics. So, better be safe than sorry.

The interior of the Fiat is insane. An Insane interior requires some maaaaad coatings!!

The seats were cleaned and inspected for damages, Because it is new, there were no scratches at all. So we proceed to coating it to protect the carbon fiber resin.

The dashboard was not treated differently, all the carbon panels were coating and topped with a layer of wax.

We were particularly detailed with the seats as they were very expensive seats by Sabelt. The Leather was detailed with a paint safe cleaner as white leathers are normally dyed. The alcantara area were then brush till clean.


The wheels were some crazy 17″ wheel on a small car, with a 4 port Brembo caliper and a large cross drilled ventilated disc. One Mad Setup for a small car.

We cleaned up the wheel with stronger cleaner that break down the brake dust then coated the wheels with Optimum Coating.


The correction process. We washed the car with a mixture of car wash and some concentrated cleaners mixed into the solution to break down the wax and polish oil from previous detailer. Then started a test panel to see. Results was satisfying as there were no remaining light swirls and the holograms were corrected.

We did try our best to salvage the decals and it kind of looks better than before.

The holograms/buffing trails were confirmed removed.

We had heard some rumors from a competitor that we do not do proper detailing, Just want to say, bumpers were detailed as well. This is how low we go.

We also detailed the engine, cleaning every edge.

Then topped with a protectant to bring out the natural shine.


Normally we let you enjoy the results but this we have to say, Remote was coated as well!!

Today is the Day 2 of 9, We have with us here a brand new Audi A6 Hybrid, possible the one and only Optimum Coated A6 hybrid in Malaysia. As usual, new cars had gone through the standard PDI or Post Delivery Inspection which also involves waxing or sometimes polishing done by the dealership. But in this case, the owner specifically  ordered the dealership to not remove any plastic, interior wrapping, stickers, firmly saying “DO NOT TOUCH MY CAR AT ALL, NOT EVEN WIPING” We believe that this, the one of the badass customers we have. Respect!

Upon arrival, the car was already in placed ready for some work to be done on her. The car was slightly dusty from the collection yesterday. But dust is nothing to be worried about.

Different from the standard TFSI Audi A6, this one looks fiercer although it is a hybrid, simply look at the headlights, it gives us the feeling that it is staring at you!

We checked the engine to see if its dirty or even greasy, but it is just dusty.

Then we moved on to inspecting the paint work. Decent for a “untouched” car with no scratches no swirls at all.

With high powered LED we inspected the entire car for any defects at all but found nothing on the paint.

Instead of just using a LED we decided to use the Sun, full on bright afternoon sun was glaring at the paint.

Yet we concluded there was no damages on the paint.

Until we reached the pillars, the common areas in most continental cars. This area is the only area which had suffer so much damages. The owner was shocked when he saw this.

But from the panel at the back door, there was no damage, mostly because the B pillar is normally with sticker to protect it from scratch. When removed the scratches was revealed.


We gave the car a good soapy wash with a delicate and slooooow washing to prevent any damages done to the paint.

Cleaned all the edges and door jams which are prone to have anti-rust.

The fuel cap was also opened for a deeper depth of detailing.

We then moved on to correcting the slight damages on the B Pillar. Here is the hologram or buffing trails left over from the compounding we just did.

Here is after removal of all defects. Cleared!

The engine was detailed “dry clean” style and topped with some protectant which is non-greasy and soft to touch. Adding to everything it gives a tone and a deeper shine to the entire engine bay, transforming it to a sexy engine bay!

The interior was clean as all the wrapping was still in place. We removed the wrapping and cleaned the leather.
As a result we achieved a clean and sleek. Soft to touch and non greasy interior for the comfort of the driver and passengers.


After everything was done, we proceed to applying the Optimum Coating. As usual, we love to let our readers enjoy the final product of our work without saying too much crap. Enjoy.
